Making a Podcast

Note: There are a number of actions and
resources required to publish and share a
podcast. You make an audio recording,
generate an .mp3 and .xml file, send those
files to a public directory you specify in the
Web Server configuration. Once placing
those files into your specified web server
directory, the publishing capabilities of the
web or RSS server determine whether and
how that podcast is shared with others.
Before publishing an audio entry, configure a
web server by selecting an entry, click on the
Publish menu, select Server Configuration
and click on the Web Server tab.
Note: Mariner Software cannot provide the
information needed to configure your web
server. This information may be available
from your ISP.
To publish a podcast to your pre-specified
web server:
1 Choose an entry with audio.
2 Go to the Publish menu and select
PodCast.
This action places an .mp3 and .XML file into
your specified web server directory.
